Imagine Tomorrow is your opportunity to contribute your vision to the Community Plan. Have your say and contribute your vision and your ideas for the future.

The Community Plan will reflect your aspirations and the aspirations of the people from our region. By participating you will help guide and create a long term vision for our region and give Council a 'community roadmap' to respond to change, challenges and opportunities over the next 20 years.

The Community Plan will detail the future we want for our community and how to achieve it. Your future, all our futures....it is important that you share your ideas and have your say!

Please let us know what is important in your vision, why and what can be done to achieve it ... it may be a sustainable balance between population growth, urban development and the environment, it may be a strong and flourishing regional economy, it may be well serviced, safe and connected communities it may be a number of things but your vision is important.

Projections indicate that our region may experience a population increase over the next 20 years of approximately 58,000 extra people on top of our current population of 164,356 (as of 30 March 2010, ABS). What can Council and the community do to ensure population growth is balanced and compatible with community, development and the environment?
