Council has been working to develop the Social Inclusion, Strategic Partnerships and Wellbeing Promotion Plan (2011 – 2016). This plan has been developed in order to set clear direction on what issues Council will work on over the next five years to achieve the best possible outcomes in partnership with the community.
The Corporate Plan 2009-2014 is Council's clear commitment to the community. Goals from the Corporate Plan are linked to the objectives for the Community Development, Strategic Partnerships and Wellbeing Promotion Plan.
Below are a series of statements and questions about the Social Inclusion, Strategic Partnerships and Wellbeing Promotion Plan. Let us know what you think about this plan and tell us of any improvements that you think we could make.

GOAL 5 – Creating a Socially Prosperous and Socially Sustainable Region

This goal is a commitment from Council to work with all groups across the region. We will do our best to address those group and community needs and assist those groups and communities grow and develop. Social prosperity is about communities maintaining their quality of life and being able to develop new opportunities to enhance that quality.
